About us…

My earliest memory was watching my Dad upholstering furniture – he’s an upholsterer too, I guess it was inevitable that I would follow in his footsteps – I think it must be in the blood!

I get such a buzz returning a piece of furniture to it’s former glory, and seeing the pleasure on people’s faces when I deliver it back to them.

Having trained at Peter Guild I am somewhat of a perfectionist, their quality & attention to detail was always second to none – very few Companies have even been in the same league. I worked there as an upholsterer for 23 years, but having my own upholstery company was always my dream, and I count myself fortunate to have fulfilled it. I formed the Company in 2006, and truly have not looked back since.

We’re also lucky to have Leo, she does an amazing job on all our upholstery & curtain sewing – she too worked at Peter Guild for many years, and works to the same quality ethos as me. She is truly gifted when it comes to making just about anything out of fabric. Over the years we’ve had everything from the standard requests for table runners, bed-throws, and scatter cushions to the more unusual requests like collars & cuffs for the local church choir!
